Description
St. Angelo Fort is a fort facing the Arabian Sea, situated about 3 km from Kannur in Kerala. Built by the Portuguese in 1505 under Dom Francisco de Almeida, it later passed to the Dutch and the British and remains one of Kannur's defining coastal landmarks beside Moppila Bay.
